After months of hard work, I finally announced that I have a picturebook coming out . It has just become available for pre-sale!
Trains are coming through! The book that every train enthusiast should own is My First Big Book of Trains.
It was inspired by my three children’s fascination with trains. This has been true from their earliest elementary school years through their childhood.
There are many great books for kids about trains, but we have only seen two.
or the non-fiction. It is filled with information, labels, and labels. These were a great learning tool for my kids, but they were clunky and hard to read to me.
The second is the train stories books. They’re loved by my children and they’ve always been the ones that I enjoy reading aloud. These books are fun, but they didn’t really give my children the train knowledge or tidbits that they wanted.
Trains are coming through! My First Big Book of Trains, a brand new type of book about trains.
This grabs children’s attention by inviting them to the world of trains. They, at the beginning of the day, are eager to show the reader what can do and, by the end, they feel proud of everything they have done .
There is a rhyme to keep the kids’ attention, and real trains are introduced from throughout history. My daughter loves Mallard, while my son loves Acela- America’s fastest train.
Also, the books feature vivid illustrations that show each type of train and what makes them special.
